INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS
PRIVATE / INDIVIDUAL INSPECTION REQUIREMENT
Documents needed:
- Copy of owner’s driver license.
- Certificate of Title.
- Bill of Sale if title is not transferred.
- Photos of vehicle front, sides, back, and inside before repairs. Estimate of Record from the insurance company can complement damage assessment.
- Receipts for major component parts replaced; must be under name of owner or repair shop.
- Bodyshop work order receipt, if applicab
- Powe of attorney if inspection documents are not being signed by the owner.
DEALER INSPECTION REQUIREMENT
Documents needed:
- Dealer license number (VI/SD/etc...) of the dealer.
- Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN).
- Re-sale tax number.
- Copy of the driver license of any officer of the dealer.
- Certificate of Title.
- Bill of Sale if title is not transferred.
- Photos of vehicle front, sides, back, and inside before repairs.
- Receipts for major component parts replaced; must be under name of dealer or repair shop.
- Bodyshop work order receipt, if applicable.
- Power of Attorney if inspection documents are being signed by a person who is not an officer of the company copy of owner’s driver license.
